Clyde leads a knowledgeable, client-focused team that embraces a comprehensive approach to wealth management where investment, estate and tax planning strategies are carefully aligned with individual needs and objectives. The French Financial team seeks to ensure portfolio investments are closely monitored for potential impact from changing economic and market conditions, as well as changes in individual client circumstances.
Before founding his own independent financial advisory firm in 2010, Clyde was the Complex Manager for the fastest growing complex in the Southern Region under Wells Fargo Advisors in 2009. He spent many years at A.G. Edwards & Sons as a wealth manager, Corporate Vice President and Vice President of Sales. While at A.G. Edwards & Sons he was named among a select group of advisors to the firm’s President and Chairman’s Council. He was also a regular guest speaker and panelist at the firm’s training events.
A decorated Vietnam War veteran and Chief Warrant Officer 2, Clyde served three years as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot with A Company, 227th Aviation Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division. He was shot down three times and was the recipient of military honors on four separate occasions for heroism in combat, including the Distinguished Flying Cross medal. He remains active in service to fellow veterans as past Chairman of the Veterans Memorial for the Community of Lincoln Parish. Clyde is also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), American Legion, Veterans of Vietnam Motorcycle Club, Combat Vets Motorcycle Association, Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association (VHPA), Combat Helicopter Pilots Association (CHPA) and the Distinguished Flying Cross Society.
He remains active in the local community serving as an Executive Board Member for the American Red Cross and is a member of the Rotary Club, Committee of 100, and Krewe of Gemini where he is a past Duke and King.
